1948 marks a milestone- Porsche started its first car production. In 2018, Porsche celebrated its 70th anniversary. Since November 2019, 1,948 limited edition Speedster cars have been available to Porsche enthusiasts, to mark this occasion. Heinz Bauer Manufakt has made its bestseller, the Speedster leather down jacket, available only to the owners of the Porsche Speedster. As the Speedster 1948 is a limited edition jacket, only the finest lamb leather from the Spanish Entrefino is used. This extremely thin and soft Lamb Nappa leather is tear resistance which makes this jacket suitable for everyday use. The Serial number of the Porsche Speedster is embroidered on the right side of the jacket (Like Walter Röhrl's 963/1948). Both the logo located on the chest, and the serial number can be ordered in your desired colour that matches the exterior or interior of your car. The jacket itself is available in different colours and owners of the Porsche Speedster 1948 can order the jacket at either Heinz Bauer Manufakt or through one of our trading partners. To do so, a photograph of your car and the serial number is required. This exclusive masterpiece will then be produced in your preferred colours with embroidery to match your car. We also offer the logo and serial number in the ladies Skywalk style.

Für die Speedster 1948, so die Bezeichnung für das streng limitierte Jackenmodell, wird nur feinstes Lammleder aus dem spanischen Entrefino verwendet. Dieses extrem dünne und softe Lammnappa hat eine unvergleichliche Weichheit und bietet doch durch seine extreme Reißfestigkeit absolute Alltagstauglichkeit. Seriennummer des Porsche Speedster in das rechte Seitenteil der Jacke eingestickt (hier bei Walter Röhrl die 963/1948). Sowohl das Logo auf der Brust als auch die Seriennummer können in der gewünschten Farbe eingestickt werden. Die Jacke selbst gibt es in verschiedenen Farben. Alle Eigentümer des Porsche Speedster 1948 können sich bei Heinz Bauer Manufakt oder einem unserer Handelspartner mit einem Foto ihres Autos, der Seriennummer und auch sich selbst, melden. Especially with lighter, vegetable tanned or open-pored leathers, we recommend impregnation. However, it is essential to ensure that the cleaned, unused product is impregnated, to prevent from dirt settling or colour loss over time.
